Qualifications
__60 hours credit from an accredited university __Substitute teaching or regular KS license __Paperwork completed with the State and Board of Education Office __Paperwork necessary to be entered into AESOP system. __Complete Substitute training session provided by USD 250.
Essential Functions
__Faciliate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. __Maintain a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of students. __Ensure that all activites conform to district guidelines. __Communicate effectively with all members of the school district and community. __Work effectively with all members of the school district and community. __React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned. __Support the value of an education. __Support the philosophy and mission of USD 250. __Implement effective lessons in the absence of the regular instructor. __Motivate students through effective communication and evaluate feedback. __Demonstrate awareness of the needs of students and provide for individual differences. __Set high expectations for student achievement and behavior. __Establish and maintain a positive climate for learning through appropriate classroom management. __See that district policies are observed during all activities. __Obtain advance approval of the regular instructor and principal for activities. __Adhere to all district health and safety policies, including the precautions of the Bloodbourne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan. __Other duties as assigned by the Principal, or other Administrative Staff.
Physical Requirements
__Requires prolonged sitting or standing. __Occasionally requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials. __Occasional stooping, bending, and reaching. __Must work indoors and outdoors year-round. __Must work in noisy and crowded environments.
Salary Information: $60.00/Half Day $120.00/Full Day |
